Molly Aldridge founded The JJ Club after wanting to create the kind of community she wished had existed when she first became a parent. Now a growing luxury digital members’ club for families, The JJ Club brings together curated events, trusted recommendations, premium partner brands and a like-minded community designed to support modern family life in a more connected and inspiring way.
1. Introduce yourself and The JJ Club.
I’m Molly Aldridge, founder of The JJ Club, and most importantly, a mum to my two boys, Jake and Joshy. Like many parents, I found myself juggling work, family life, friendships and the constant mental load that comes with modern parenting. The JJ Club was born from wanting to create the kind of community I wished had existed when I first became a parent - something supportive, inspiring and genuinely useful.
At its heart, The JJ Club is a luxury digital members’ club for modern families. We connect members through curated events, trusted recommendations, exclusive partner perks and a like-minded community, all designed to make family life feel easier, more connected and more enjoyable.
2. What was missing from modern family life in your experience?
What was missing for me was a real sense of connection and trusted guidance. Parenting can feel overwhelming, and there’s so much noise aimed at families already. I wanted to create something that felt thoughtfully curated rather than overwhelming - somewhere parents could discover brilliant recommendations, meet like-minded people and feel genuinely supported. My boys were really the inspiration behind everything. They made me realise how valuable community is, not just for children but for parents too.
3. Why do you think so many parents are craving that sense of belonging right now?
Modern life can feel incredibly busy and surprisingly isolating at times. I think people are craving real connection more than ever. What we’ve found through The JJ Club is that parents genuinely want opportunities to come together, whether that’s through one of our monthly meets or one of our larger flagship events. Those moments of connection really matter. Community has always been at the heart of what we do. We’re not just creating events or content - we’re creating spaces for meaningful relationships and shared experiences.
4.The JJ Club app is launching on 2nd June - what does this next chapter unlock for members?
This feels like a really exciting evolution for us.. The app brings together the very best of family life in one beautifully curated app: trusted recommendations, exclusive member perks, hand-picked experiences and a like-minded community. We’ve also added in geo-targeting so you can see all the local events, partners and experts on your doorstep and in your area. We know parents are busy, so convenience and ease were incredibly important. We wanted the app to feel thoughtful, uplifting and genuinely useful day-to-day.
5. How did you approach creating an app that felt considered, trusted and easy to engage with?
That was incredibly important to us from the beginning. We never wanted to create more noise. Everything inside The JJClub is there because it’s something I, our team, or our trusted ambassadors use and believe in ourselves.
Parents are discerning and short on time, so we’ve been very intentional about creating something curated, trusted and easy to engage with. We’re always asking ourselves whether something genuinely makes family life easier, more enjoyable or more inspiring. We pride ourselves on delivering meaningful in person events (for adults and children alike) and ensure that only the best partners and experts make it in to the club for our members to enjoy and benefit from.
6. You’ve built a community of member families, partner brands and experts. What have been some of the most rewarding or unexpected moments since launching?
Seeing people connect in real life has definitely been the most rewarding part. Watching friendships form at events, hearing members say they’ve discovered brands or experiences they now genuinely love, or seeing people come back month after month has been incredibly special. Saving our members time and money too is also something we’re keen to continue - providing luxury experiences and products with built in membership perks! Our flagship “A Village on Your Doorstep” events really bring the community to life and remind us why we started all of this in the first place.
7. Looking ahead, what’s your bigger vision for The JJ Club?
The JJ Club is set to evolve into its first physical flagship members’ club in the next 18 months - a beautifully designed 30,000 sq. ft. space in Southwest London, featuring family-friendly hospitality, children’s spaces, co-working, health and wellness facilities, and cultural spaces designed specifically for modern family life.
We’re building a modern village for families, both digitally and physically, and I hope in five years’ time families feel that The JJ Club has become a trusted and valuable part of their lives.
