3. Lighthouse Social Introduces Little Lighthouse and launches child membership
Following its successful summer launch, Lighthouse Social, West London’s vibrant new private members’ club, has officially opened Little Lighthouse, its bespoke on-site crèche. The launch coincides with the introduction of a child membership category for ages 1-6, making Lighthouse Social the first London members’ club designed principally for adults to integrate high-quality childcare as a core part of the club experience. The crèche offers an environment where little ones can feel both inspired and at ease. The Dion et Arles designed space is intended to invoke lush forestry and the natural world, encompassing soothing green tones, wallpaper adorned with woodland scenes and nods to the animal kingdom throughout. Panoramic waterside views, a starry reading corner and open play areas create a welcoming setting that is Ofsted approved.
Alongside the new crèche, Lighthouse Social is excited to introduce its child membership option, specially designed for youngsters aged 1–6. This membership gives children access to the newly opened facility. Priced at £840, child memberships are available exclusively to the children of existing adult Lighthouse Social members.

4. New kidswear brand Playing Out launches first collection
In 2024, after founders Liam & Sadie welcomed their son, Koa, into the world - they began to imagine their brand - Playing Out. “Becoming parents made us think about what kind of childhood we wanted him to have,” they explain, fuelled by the realisation that they were part of one of the last generations to grow up without the internet in their early years.
While the internet is now an unavoidable part of growing up, the brand Playing Out was created to give today’s children permission to reclaim some of that joy. “Our clothes are as bold and imaginative as the children who wear them - colourful, stylish, and hard-wearing enough to survive every adventure.”
Playing Out isn’t just another kidswear brand. It’s a movement. A reminder that childhood isn’t about polish - it’s about play.
