  1. How have you approached maternity dressing the second time round? Any tips from a pro?

Number one is capsule wardrobing, wearing really soft comfy basics against my skin because it’s super sensitive when you’re pregnant and then any jumpers or shirts, I make sure to buy a larger size so that I can wear them postpartum which keeps my options open and I’m not pigeon-holing myself into just maternity wear, which is something I did quite a bit with Harry and then once I was in the postpartum era, I felt like I had nothing to wear.

2. What brands are your go-to in this pregnancy?

H&M maternity is amazing. Their jeans are fantastic, and I really like their basic T-shirts. I also am a big Bumpsuit fan and my friends new business STRETCHSUIT. I think they are also really nice. I like the unitards and they like the stretchy dresses and Momcozy for bras they are amazing, super comfy!

 3. When you’re looking for inspiration in fashion generally where do you look? Any accounts you love to follow?

I actually swear by Olivia Rose‘s business Virtually Styled By. They are fantastic for their capsule wardrobing and styling lots of pieces, lots of different ways. I used them before I had Harry, after I had Harry, during this pregnancy and they’ve already started putting up postpartum look-books because their Founder Olivia has just had a baby, and I absolutely swear by it. I just like to add a little bit more colouring because everything they wear is very neutral and really ‘cool clean girl’ and I’m not a cool girl. I’m Alex.

4. As an experienced mum and nanny, what children’s brands do our readers need to know about for children’s fashion picks?

For babies, I love Mori and Kyte Baby (Super soft fabrics for sleep and basics). Muslins (designs by A Little Bit of Hope), they’re the softest ever. For cool gender-neutral outfits, I love Claude and Co & Organic Zoo. Then of course, high street staples from Zara and H&M.
