The Weekly Edit: MAM's Pulsi, Lumo the Lapland Reindeer and Christmas at Sugar Beach

Here's everything you need to know in parenting, lifestyle and travel this week. MAM marks fifty years with Pulsi, a world-first calming tool modelled on the rhythm of the umbilical cord. Lapland Studios brings its world of Father Christmas to Netflix with Lumo the Lapland Reindeer. And Sugar Beach in Saint Lucia has built its whole Christmas around the children, not just the parents.
Parenting: MAM launches Pulsi
MAM has launched Pulsi, the world's first calming tool for babies, modelled on the rhythmic pulsation of the umbilical cord. Its patented sawtooth pulsation recreates the umbilical artery flow-velocity waveform that every baby experiences in the womb.
The launch is backed by a medical white paper testing 312 babies, with 93% of healthcare professionals confirming that Pulsi calms them down. It comes in two sizes with three pulsation speeds and is available exclusively at Boots, as MAM marks fifty years of supporting families.
Lifestyle: Lumo the Lapland Reindeer arrives on Netflix
Lumo the Lapland Reindeer lands on Netflix UK and Ireland on Sunday 1 November. It is the first animated series from Lapland Studios, the team behind LaplandUK.
Across five 13-minute episodes, Lumo and his friends explore the world of Father Christmas, with voices from Teresa Gallagher, Penny Rawlins and Rob Rackstraw, and writers whose credits include Hey Duggee and Moominvalley. LaplandUK has welcomed two million guests through its Ascot and Manchester experiences, and the series marks the brand's first real move into the family living room.
Travel: Christmas at Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort
Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort in Saint Lucia has a proper family Christmas planned. Christmas Eve brings a beachside barbecue beneath the Pitons, and on Christmas Day Santa makes a surprise arrival with presents for younger guests. Through Twixmas, the resort hosts a lantern-lit Festival of Lights.
Rooms start from £1,093 a night with breakfast included, and British Airways flies direct from Gatwick.
That's your parenting, lifestyle and travel round-up for this week.
