An introduction to the Notting Hill Club – the new wellness hotspot for families in London

A premium, multifunctional, family fitness hub has launched in the heart of Notting Hill.

Opened in April 2025, the Notting Hill Club is set to become a new neighbourhood staple for families, providing a one-stop fitness destination for all ages in London.

Serving as a purpose-built family fitness space, the club offers a boutique studio experience to children and their families.
With a range of high quality, child-friendly and family-focused classes, delivered by best-in-class instructors and providers in a specially designed facility. The three-floor building offers a plethora of classes; from dance and Martial Arts, to holistic classes including Pilates, Yoga, and sound healing sessions. The light and airy studios also hosts specialist workshops with experts; from Pediatric First Aid and infant massage to pelvic floor education and nutrition.

Notting Hill Club provides purposefully-designed pregnancy and postnatal classes and training programmes, where the wellbeing of the mother is prioritised. The goal is to support mothers through all stages of pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Whilst simultaneously providing a space for parents and caregivers with specially curated workshops and events, fostering social connection through fitness.

Brought to life by the family behind the Notting Hill-based health club and local institution, Body Works West, the Notting Hill Club is a new project conceptualised by Husband and Wife team, Alexander and Martina Rivers.

After noticing a lack of social fitness spaces providing a range of activities for all ages and generations in one place, the Notting Hill Club, which is housed just next door to Body Works West, offers an inviting environment to new customers in a concept created solely for them.

Key elements for the space allow visitors to enjoy state-of-the-art facilities, including a dance studio, a spacious dojo for Martial Arts and self-defense classes and a Pilates and Yoga studio.

Martina Rivers, Notting Hill Club co-founder says:

At Notting Hill Club, we want to empower women to move confidently and safely through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum recovery. We’ve created a space that prioritises mothers’ physical and mental wellbeing with fitness experiences tailored specifically to their needs.

We also understand the vital role that not only fathers, but also grandparents, godparents, and caregivers play in a child’s life. That’s why we’ve created a programme of engaging and fun classes that encourage joyful movement for the entire family.”
