MOME London
Mome London is a creative play café for families, located in the heart of Angel, Islington. The 200 sqm space is described as a community hub, creative studio, and cosy café all in one.
Designed for children aged 0–4 and their parents or carers. The concept is built around seven art forms; Literature, Music, Architecture, Sculpture, Painting, Dance, and Cinema - all woven into imaginative play and guided exploration.
The Play Space
The soft play area is themed and interactive, with distinct zones designed to stimulate imagination including a Kitchen Corner and an Art Garage Workshop. It is aimed at children aged 0–4 and is designed to encourage learning through play. Parents are required to supervise their children at all times; Mome does not offer childcare or drop-off services.
Birthday Parties and Private Hire
Mome offers private hire for birthday parties and group bookings of more than 10 children. Birthday packages include interactive creative workshops, organic treats, and Augmented Reality Walls. The venue can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, with bespoke packages tailored to individual needs. Members on the Inspire tier receive 15% off birthday party bookings.
Creative Classes
Mome runs a programme of structured creative classes throughout the week. Current offerings include Painting (Mondays and Saturdays, for ages 6 months–4 years), Music (Fridays, for ages 6 months–2 years), and Story Seeds - an interactive storytelling, music, and sensory session (Fridays and Sundays, for ages 3 months–4 years). Classes can be booked individually or through a membership.
The Café
The on-site café is a core part of the Mome experience, offering artisanal coffee, organic food, and healthy treats that are locally made. It is designed with parent-friendly seating so adults can relax and connect with other families while keeping an eye on their children in the adjacent play areas. The café is positioned as a social and community space, not just a functional add-on.
Membership Options
Mome operates a tiered membership scheme offering significant savings compared to pay-as-you-go pricing. The tiers are Discover (from £45/month for 4 weekday soft play sessions), Create (from £95/month for 10 flexible visits to soft play or classes), and Inspire (from £195/month for unlimited access, priority event booking, 2 guest passes, and a welcome gift pack). All tiers include sibling perks: the second child gets 50% off and the third is free.
