Fujifilm’s Look Up Campaign Swaps Doomscrolling For Connecting With The World Around Us
With its new Look Up campaign, Fujifilm has launched a rallying cry to swap doomscrolling for connecting with the world around. The brand's research found that 44% of people missed a meaningful moment in the last three months due to distraction, with time with family cited as what's lost most. Fujifilm is reframing photography as an intentional act that pulls people out of passive doomscrolling and into active creation. Rather that removing devices completely, the campaign focuses on using Fujifilm cameras such as the X100 series or X series to encourage us to slow down and discover meaning in everyday moments. It’s a timely conversation as we head into the summer holidays and start thinking of ways to keep kids entertained. Using a camera is an easy way to get kids looking up and around them - spotting colours, textures and details on a walk, at the beach, or in the garden - rather than reaching for a screen.

Tesco’s Giant Fruit & Veg Challenge Gets Kids Excited About Healthy Eating
Tesco’s Giant Fruit & Veg Challenge is encouraging families to recreate fun, child-friendly recipes at home this summer. After research found only one in ten UK children eat their recommended five-a-day during a typical school day, Tesco challenged school children to invent their own fruit and veg-packed dishes. The winning recipe, The Swamp Monster's Crunchy Eyeball Jelly by 10-year-old Khalessi McKay, will now be served in more than 1,500 school canteens across the UK. The challenge was inspired by research that found 73% of parents say children are more likely to eat fruit and veg when food is made fun and visually creative, and when they're involved in choosing or making it themselves. For quick and easy recipes you can make with children during the summer holidays, check out the Tesco Real Food website.
